I’m back in the Garden at Two Peas.  And super happy to be there.

Late last year things got busy.  Too many assignments really.  But this year started better.  Commitments were fewer.  So I rejoined the Garden.

And now things are crazy busy… busier before with new (major) projects starting up.  But I’m going to make it work.

Because I love the chance to put together my own product collections to use on my pages.  To mix and match things that I love.

I’m in.  And it feels good.

So far this month I’ve had two projects go up in the Garden (one that includes a video).

I’m back with my first video of the year… and this time it’s a page I made marking the moment my youngest got glasses.

My kids are older, and milestones just don’t happen as much for us anymore. But this was one and I was happy to create a page about it.

I used a lot of Crate paper’s Boys Rule line and that Mr. Rad journaling card was my jumping off point.

In this video I share how I created this page and my thought process throughout.

One of our most recent milestones was my daughter’s first day of high school.  That was a biggie.

Nevermind the fact that… how in the world am I old enough to have a teenage daughter!!

I ran the design of this page across the center and layered on a Studio Calico tag, stacked love sentiment (an exclusive Two Peas cut file) and the photo.  Once that was done I added more layers with papers and embellishments.

I totally didn’t think I took many pictures at all.

But it turns out I did.

In March we took a family vacation to Florida.  What follows is a collection of photos from our trip along with a few words.  The stories will follow in Project Life® format or a mini of some sort.

1. I love this set-up of the desk along a wall of windows.  Still room for an inspiration board and lots of white.  And I’m kinda in love with that black and white basket.

2. Walk in shower.  Check.  Subway tile.  Check.  Wood vanity. Check.  Totally perfect for the master bath.

3. I’m forever and ever a proponent of simple design (like this calendar).  The end.

4. Words to live by.

5. Very similar to my current kitchen but I’m loving the windows in the top doors as well.  And that library ladder.  That’d be cool.
