Long Ago | A Balzer Designs blog hop

I’m honored to be playing along in the Crafter’s Workshop/Balzer Designs blog hop today.  You may have seen them around, featuring new stencils every hop… if not, you can check all the hops out here.  This round is focusing on the Wood Parquet stencil.

And here’s what I did with it.

I started by misting a piece of grey cardstock with Studio Calico Clay Mister Huey.  I moved the mask over slightly and then misted again with Mister Huey white.  I love the subtle effect that gave.

I’m also really loving the Prima Chalk Inks.  This one is Brick Wall.

Be sure to hop over to the rest of the gal’s blogs and see how they used the same stencil.
